Skoda Yeti Car

The Czechoslovakian automaker Skoda has already started rolling out the Skoda Yeti from its plant, and it seems that this car will hit the roads soon. According to sources who are close to the project, this magnificent SUV will be displayed at the forthcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2010. As you will already know, the Delhi Auto Expo is a premier platform for car manufacturers and car lovers in the country. Earlier this car was put up at the Geneva Auto show in 2009.

For the Indian market, the company plans to launch the Skoda Yeti SUV close to around 2010, though there is no official confirmation from the company yet. Some of the features that the company plans to include for the Indian debut are a 4x4 variant and a 1.8L TSI petrol engine that will be adapted to Indian conditions. With a robust and elegant look, this vehicle has the power to create a sturdy impression with its 17 inch wheels and a neatly styled body. Though there are growing environmental concerns about SUVs, the Skoda Yeti has made some attempts at reducing the fuel consumption and emission.For longer journeys, there is ample luggage space of up to 1,760 litres available in the Skoda Yeti by removing the rear VarioFlex seating system. There is ample safety features included as well. Though there is no official confirmation about the price, it is expected to cost between INR 10 to 12 lakhs.

Ford Figo car

Figo, Italian for "cool" will be launched in the first quarter of 2010 and come in both petrol and diesel variants. Ford India has not announced any price but the car is expected to cost Rs 4 lakh and upwards for the base variant and will be pitted against Maruti Swift and Ritz, Fiat Punto, Chevrolet U-VA and Hyundai I20.

The 2010 Audi Q7 sporty SUV will be available in three engine options, the 3.0 TDI Quattro, 3.6 FSI Quattro, and 4.2 FSI Quattro, from September 3, 2009, at all Audi dealerships in the country.
The sporty SUV will come in four new colours, Ibis White, Teak Brown, Orca Black and Graphite Grey, apart from the existing colours, Deep Black, Bahia Beige, Cobalt Blue, Condor Grey, Ice Silver, Garnet Red and Lava Grey.

The new Polo is one of the safest cars worldwide. No other car in this class has such a mature and high-end image as the new Polo. Comfort, quality and safety have all taken a considerable leap forward.

In addition, the European version of the Polo now being presented is equipped with standard ESP electronic stabilization program with Hill Hold Control, and it has a highly effective network of airbags on board, including combined head-thorax airbags (integrated in the front seatbacks), belt tensioners and belt force limiters plus seatbelt warning indicator and head restraints that counteract the risk of whiplash injury (both front seats), three rear head restraints and Isofix child seat preparation.

The Polo offers an interesting line of engines, and also the pleasant-to-use DSG automatic/sequential transmission, with two clutches. The new 1.6 litre TDi diesel engine perfectly suits the size of the car, while among the petrol engines is a lively 1.2 litre TSI with turbo which also balances performance and fuel economy. The Polo is offered in two kinds of Blue Motion derivatives, both with diesel engines. The 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine with 75 HP is homologated for an average fuel consumption of 3.3 litre/100 km, equivalent to an emission of 87 g/km of CO2.
